is this ok. ? room for chinchilla

Hi .
I have a craft room .i use
Thats where i was thinking of putting the cage .When i get my chinchilla.

But it has no Windows, it stays between 58
And 60 in the winter where its going to be playing . But where iam going to have the cage has no Windows either and its 60s
Around in there . Should i put a night light
In there ?Would that be ok .And. its in basement of my house .

Well the temperature if prefect for a chin (never over 75°)! I think no windows is fine..you're actually never supposed to put a chin in direct sunlight. Maybe put a small light in there so it's not so depressing, or even a TV or radio and turn it on every once and awhile to get something amusing in there. The TV is totally unnecessary, it would just make myself feel better about the chinchilla being tucked away alone all the time lol. Hope this helps!
