Is this hay mix ok?

With 6 chinchillas it's kinda hard buying such small bits at a time so I was wondering if this mix was ok, a guy on craigslist is selling it for horses.

Timothy, Lespedezia, Brome, Orchard Grass, and some Alfalfa

Or if anyone knows of a place in St. Louis to get a bale let me know!!

I don't know what Lespedezia is. Find out what cutting it is. First cutting is coarser, second is better and third is much finer and wispy. See about weeds, as a matter of fact now that I think about it this hay kinda sounds like it may be pasture or lot hay where someone just hays a field without really planting it and that sort has more weeds. Organic weed free certified timmy hay would be great to get.

Thanks for the reply, I went ahead and bought a 55lb bale of Timmy hay from one of the feed stores about 30 miles from us for $18.
