Is the equine pine pellet bedding safe for chins?

No. If they eat it it can harm them. If you have cages with wire bottoms where they can't get to the bedding then it would be fine to use.

I found this and overall they said its kiln dried. I also looked at the equine fresh site and they said its 100% kiln dried. But the one I am looking at is the tractor brand. But in that thread its what they're talking about. I thought of the oxbow, but its just too expensive for my taste. I have been using the pine pellets along with the aspen. I put the aspen on top of the pine, that way it's soft for them and pine pellets would absorb the odor better. It does end up coming apart vs expanding.
