Okay, this is kind of a stupid question, but either way it won't matter.

I have a male that has had one male cage mate and I let him and another male get together for a playtime, this thought male was not a male but a female who luckily did not get pregnant, when I put him back with the male cage mate he pretty much mauled him. He's been single since.

I have another male who is sweet and loving and wouldn't hurt a fly, he's never been apart from other chins until now when I had to take his mate away for medical reasons.

Now, the first male has a home lined up to go to when she gets the money for him, which will be at least a month, most likely two.

Would it be safe to introduce them? And since he will eventually leave, will it be worth it?

Thanks!

Absolutely not. Once a chin beats up another chin it's done. No cagemate, no breeding mate.

Okay, thanks, that's what I thought, I just didn't know if it was a different circumstance. I guess more cuddles for Mister Odd :)
