Introducing Bruce! :)

Hello everybody
I would just like to introduce our new baby boy Bruce (named after the amazing Bruce Cambell) I'm normally against getting animals apart from fish at petsmart, but I saw this little guy there, held him, and well the rest is history. Luckily, he had been at the store for less then two days so he wasn't subjected to too many clueless people poking and bugging him. I surprised my boyfriend with him and he quickly fell for him too. We started him out in a smaller cage but he is now living it up in a two level FerretNation all to himself, with plenty of toys and some fleece liners I sewed for him. He has only been with us for three weeks now, but already he is a huge part of our lives. He has so much personality and is sure to let us know if we don't stick to our normal schedual and give him some attention. Although, with a face like that its hard not to! :kiss:

On a side note, I'm glad I found this forum, everyone is great at providing accurate info and I love seeing fellow doting chinnie parents :thumbsup:

Super cute! I would make sure to cover the bottom bars of the cage with fleece. I can see them in the pictures and it makes me scared about the leg getting caught.

he's adorable!! There is tons of useful info on the forums. One thing to be careful of is make sure Bruce doesn't chew on his hammock or eat his bedding. Carefresh can cause impaction

Don't worry, I've since ditched the carefresh bedding and he now has extra padded fleece liners to cover the bottom of his cage. I've kept an eye on him with the hammock, and so far he hasn't attempted to nibble on it at all, although I am working on replacing it with a fleece one to match his liners.

Too cute not to share! Went upstairs to find Bruce fast asleep with his toys (his chin and paw were resting on the chewy rock). So I had to sneak up and snap a picture. Figured my fellow chin parents would appreciate the adorable-ness
On a side note, our little man will be 16 weeks and with us a month now. So proud of how friendly and social he has become. He is a regular little attention begger now

Thanks He's so much fun but he just hit for months old and we are experiencing the "terrible twos" stage if you will. He has his naughty moments
