I need help please!

Hi,

I have 4 chinchillas, three female and one male.
Two of my females have recently given birth and the other one should be due shortly. My male chin has been able to run freely with the females with no problems at all.
Ive noticed today that one of his testicles is abnormally large and a bit purple looking!

Does anyone have a clue as to what it might be?

I've checked for hair rings and he doesnt have any!

I have no idea, but its not a good idea to keep the male with the females unless you want a ton of babies. They've probably bred again already!

Large and purple could be testicular torsion. He needs to see a vet.

I took him to the vets and the vet said that he was very relaxed so one testicle had dropped into the sack and i didnt realise how big they were!!... it was quite funny actually!!

Also my females and male are sepertated so they are not back to back breeding
