I went to the feed store for fish food with my dad and they had the 25 lbs of Mazuri for 15 dollors.

I was just wondering how do you keep it fresh ? And what's a good mill date to look for.?

I didn't buy it cause the mill date is MAR0212 and I didn't know if it was good or how to keep it fresh.

I wouldn't have bought it either. Six months is the absolute outside of what is considered "fresh" for chin food. I never reach anywhere near that though because I go through food too fast.

Food is fresh by the mill date. There is not much else you can do to make it stay fresh. Freezing doesn't help. You just need to be sure that the mill date you get is the newest possible and I wouldn't use it past four months. I think six months is pushing it.
