how tall is too tall for the cage?

Gizmo have had 3 level (including botton floor) for 8 months and I have an idea to modify it by add another level or two to it. Is that ok? He does jump from third floor down to the bottom sometimes so thats why i'm a lil worry if I add the level it will be too tall.

I have one cage that is 6ft tall. It has a lot of shelves and they love it

They can get hurt by falling but that is true no matter how small or big the cage is..I always say the bigger the better...chins love to be able to run, jump and play so if you can accomidate them with a larger cage then I say go for it

just make sure you design the inside (shelves, tubes, hammocks, etc) so that he can't ever fall too far a distance.

I wouldn't go much over 6'-7' just because it's harder to clean when you need a step stool.

also I would add many leaping/sleeping ledges to encourage him to use them but other then that the skys the limit but you will have to be able to clean it all...
