I picked up my male today and discovered (picture) and open hole in his tummy and when i parted the fur to see what it was a tube (with blood veins in it) came out. He also has what i thought was a mat just under it going horizontally about an inch and a half long and when i parted the fur there it was raised/irritated skin with a couple open areas. Poops are normal, he is eating and drinking normally.

Nothing in his cage could have caused any fall injuries to match up. Im posting on this forum and not taking him to the vet.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

im posting on this forum and not taking him to the vet BECAUSE its 2am...sorry i didnt complete that sentence

Here are some more pictures of him.
He also has a tendency to lay on his one side (opposite of area in question)
And just noted he had a small pee that was brown. (i looked it up and it said it can be normal)
And he is grooming the area, Im not sure if its an attempt to clean it or if this is furbiting in the early stages.
He HAD a parasite years ago his previous owner told me but they are given bottled water only. Iv had him & his cage mate for 2 months

I separated him from my other male he was housed with to monitor his food and water intakes better. And his cage mate is quite upset that hes spending the night alone on the lower level.

Any help/knowege on this is greatly appreciated

Whatever it is, it looks red so that means to me infection, chin needs a vet and antibiotics IMO, as soon as possible. Chins will chew areas that have pain and that looks painful.

I agree, he needs a vet as soon as possible. I cant really see the pictures all that well, but it does look very painful.
