Help with commenting on a Craigslist post

I just saw this post on Craigslist and wanted to write to that person an email telling her that Chinchillas are not to be given as surprise gifts and that they are not low maintenance pets. But my English is just not good enough to explain it clearly and make it sound not rude. Could some of you please reply to this person and talk some sense into him/her NICELY? Thank you!

I don't have time to write a lengthy email, but in situations like this I usually suggest (if they must give an animal related surprise) that they surprise their friend/family with a cage and some supplies (toys, cute hammock etc). Let the person choose their own pet or if they don't want the pet, they can either return the stuff or donate it to a rescue or shelter.
