Help please - New metal pans

Just got metal pans for my boys cage, but a little worried about him slipping. I have fleece in a few areas but have never completely covered the pans in fleece. He's also litter pan trained so I don't want to use wood shavings on the bottom. Is this something he'll get used to? Is it safe? Any other suggestions?

He'll be fine. The skin on chins feet have a good ability to grip, especially on flat surfaces. My cage bottoms are covered in coated tile and they get around just fine.

They should be fine. All of my chins do perfectly fine on them. - I did however put a sheet of fleece under the pan so theirs no metal (pan) on metal (cage) clashing sound when they jump around.
