Please help. My first chin and been reading all the things that can go wrong and no scared my chin isn't well. Woke up this morning to this. Lots of normal poops but then this one which was wet. I can't tell if she has pooped and then pee'd on on it. Do I need to take her to the vet?

i wouldn't really know about this, but if i were worried about my own chinchillas possibly having that, i would first check that area where i found the poop for possible signs of pee- one of my chins tends to occasionally pee on his poop. or, you could clean up all her poop and wait and see what the next ones are like. chances are, it's probably just pee. you could also check her rear for any smears to see if it was diarrhea. o.o

If it's just one wet poop next to a heap of normal ones, then this is what I'd do. Keep an eye on her poops for a few days, plus her food and water intake. No need to panic quite yet!
