Usually, hedgies are more scared/anxious and trying to figure out a way to protect themselves from all the scary things that happen in their world than they are "mean." Please let us know what's going on with your hedgie on the Hedgie Behavior or New Owner or General Q's boards -- whichever seems most appropriate to your situation! We'll do our best to help.
