So does this mean whenever anyone calls me anti-social I can just tell them I'm a hedgehog?

"Caitlin, why are you so quiet?"
"The quills!! They're so prickly!!! AHHH!!"

I've actually never heard of this concept before, it is a pretty interesting analogy.
