Wondering if anyone is familiar with Birdsfoot trefoil as an ingredient in hay mixes?
I found a local source, which bails primarily timothy hay; however, it also contains birdsfoot trefoil, which was described to me as the following;
"Birdsfoot trefoil is like a legume such as alfalfa. It is a good source of protein but is not as rough or sticky like alfalfa. And probably wont cause as much bloat or other problems in horses if that's what your feeding it to."
