Green quills?

So today I noticed a spot on pokeys back where the quills were green. only had him a month and hes not all the way comfortable with me so we haven't tried a bath yet. Are their disorders where quills turn green? could just need a bath lol just checking..:hmm:

Most likely it is either a food stain from anointing or are the quills actually painted? Some breeders will mark hedgehog quills with paint in order to tell them apart.

If you don't want to attempt a bath yet, try wetting a wash cloth and see if you can wipe the green off. Or post an image, we may or may not be able to help determine the nature of the coloring.
