Hope the pictures work or this will be a lame post. =P
Nov 1 I had 2 surprises waiting for me when I did my spot check in the chin room (they forever love to knock down water bottles ect). Two weeny babies, freshly dry and with eyes closed =( I couldnt do more than put them in a travel cage with mom and move them to a warmer room (my chin room was about 50 degrees at the time).

So, the biggest surprise was I had 111 days marked as Nov 14, so either I counted wrong or they are premature (or a bit of both).

11 hours later I got home from work and prayed I'd find two still living babies with momma. They were! They had open eyes and weighed in at 53 and 55 grams.

So this post is mostly cause I love seeing other peoples baby pics (so I love posting mine too!) But also to ask any long time breeders if the kits look premature or just a case of me being bad with calendars? They move around ok but are not nearly so spirited as my single kit born early October, but I'm not worried about survival. They are gaining weight (1 gram a day) too which makes me feel they are likely to survive. Their eyes are open but very squinty compared to the other 2 kits I have experienced.

Also I have one tail shot of the beige, anyone else see white, or am I being wistful. (beige x white parents)

Btw the bigger white kit is the one born earlier in Oct. She has same dad and a different mother. And the box was to make them feel safer while on my desk for pics.
