Freezing pellets

What's so bad about freezing pellets?

I know some people say they get mold when you thaw them, but I have never seen that happen

Freezing does not prolong the life of a pellet, so there is no reason to freeze them. Over time they lose nutritional value. By the time they are six months old ( from the mill date, not the date you buy them) the nutritional value is gone, whether or not you freeze them.
