Which wheel size would be best for a FN 142 that's divided into two sections?

The 15 inch fits just fine in a divided FN 142. A 11 inch wheel is too small for chinchillas anyway.

15" for sure for chin safety and comfort. If you want to get a visual on what that looks like in a FN 142, check out the Ferret Nation Fan Club thread (sorry, I'm lame with attaching links) in this section of the forum. A lot of people have them and there are some great pics of what the cages look like set up with them.
