When I made my fleece liners I used two pieces of fleece and a piece of batting.
I measured out how big the liners needed to be and cut the material. Next, sew the fabric inside out on all side but one. It should look like a pillow case. Then, Flip it right side out. Lay the batting inside of it. I hand stitched invisible stitches on the last side to close it up. The last thing you need to do is quilt the batting so it doesn't ruin when you wash it.
I'm still working on my hammocks, but its the same idea. I'm not putting batting in these though. Just cut the fabric to what ever shape or size you need it to be. As for the hardware, I haven't gotten there yet.
