Fleece and/or Plush?

Can anybody tell me if you can use plush. I have some plush throws that I bought on clearance, and I was wondering if I could use that in my chinnies cage? I don't know the difference between the two other than plush is thicker. They are both 100% polyester. I have looked through some of these threads and i haven't found anything on this subject. Also if I make my own hammocks/liners out of fleece:hmm: what kind of thread is safe to use? :hmm: any suggestions

It's my understanding that the reason for fleece being the only acceptable material is because it does not separate into long fibers that could be dangerous for a chinchilla if they eat it(even then if a chin chews fleece it needs to be removed). Just remember sewing plush pillows for daughter and it is definitely held together and strings easily.Just my findings,til others chip in

as far as I know you can only use anti pill fleece and blizzard fleece
