Female wagging her tail?

I just took my chinchilla off a box that she's not allowed to get onto. This is the third time that I've removed her from it. She started crying and wagging her tail. I thought only males wagged their tails?

My females will flip their tails back and forth if they are mad. And its usually right before they spray me, lol

My chin will wag her tail a little bit when she's upset or annoyed at me. Or right before she sprays me. I take that as her being sassy, like Lynn & the Chins said LOL
