Eye spots...normal?

Hello,

My Lilly is a homo beige, we think. I noticed when I adopted her that she had spots in her eyes. I can't get a picture, but the following picture (from Diamond Chinchillas of her beauty, Hazel) shows them perfectly.

Anyone know what the are? Why they are there?

It's normal for beige chinchillas to have pigmentation in their eyes.

Any chin with beige in its genes can have freckles on their ears, nose and yes, their eyes.
