Eye infection?

Hey everyone, long time no see. I was going for about three weeks and came back to find Bessie having problems with her right eye. She already has a vet appointment, but I wanted some other opinions as well.

The fur around her right eye is laying oddly flat and it just started to actually weep today. The skin around the eye is pink and irritated. Should I stop her dust baths until she gets treated? Here are some pictures.

If the rim is pink the chin most likely has a infection, could be from a scratch so the vet needs to check it with a dye to see what is up.
