Exercise wheel

I am looking to make a high quality exercise wheel. Is a 16 inch exercise wheel too big to fit in a chinchilla cage? Maybe a 15 inch wheel is better?

I think it just depends on the size of your cage. 16" is great if it fits in the cage. I'm not talented enough to attempt making a wheel, but good luck with yours!
