Eddie likes his Teddy

I made a teddy bear for Eddie when I first got him. I bought a fleece blanket online (a pet safe one) and made a hammock, a nest box liner and a teddy stuffed with scraps of fleece.
He loves the hammock and didn't touch his nest box until the liner went in, but ignored the teddy. When he got his new cage, I popped it back in to see if he would touch it. The most I saw was him sitting on top of it and nibbling it. Then we went away to my parent's caravan (we've been here since Friday and he's doing the big 2 hour trip to my home for christmas on Wednesday). His old cage is in the van and I decided to take his teddy.
Suddenly, he's started cuddling up to it! He uses it like a pillow. It's so adorable and I just can't help but take loads of photos of him. I'm surprised that he actually likes his teddy bear now!

I like seeing chins enjoy there buddies. All 5 of mine hated the one i got. They would throw it as far away from them as them could.

What kind of cage is that? Wire floors like that can be dangerous for them. They have been know to get a foot or leg caught in them. Which can lead to much worse problems.

It has sawdust at the bottom and his feet don't fit through the mesh. The mesh is quite close together. It's his old one. His new one also has mesh but it's a chinchilla cage, a proper one, and he's been doing fine with it
