Ear Size?

My new chincihlla who is 5 months old seems to have a smaller ear to body ratio than my 5 year old chin. Will his ears get bigger in proprotion to his body or is he forever cursed with small ears?

My older chinchilla thinks the new one looks like a rat because of his smaller ears. : P

from my reading/looking at photos, chins come with all different sizes and shapes of ears. to me, ear size/shape doesn't matter a bit, as long as the chin is healthy.

I have chins on both ends of the spectrum. Some just have small or rather large ears.
