Looking for opinions. While browsing through some websites this weekend I ran across a listing for dried silkworm pupae. The only time I've seen this product listed before was on bird websites as a food. I had never thought much of it before, until I ran across it on Exotic Nutrition.
EN's website doesn't say much about them, but I found the following information on a Koi site.

Have you ever heard of them being fed to sugar gliders or hedgehogs? I know several people feed hedgehogs silkworms and its been reported that hedgehogs who wouldn't eat any other bug would eat a silkworm.Silkworm is naturally high in protein, calcium, nutrients, vitamins & minerals and other essential fatty acids.
Excellent food for Turtles & Koi as well as many Reptiles & Amphibians Dried Silkworms can be fed all year round or as a treat for Wild Birds!!!
