so nyx has been laying completely on her back with her legs straight in the air and the babies sit on her stomache and nurse.. im wondering if it is normal.

Yes, I have several that do that. Some lay flat on their back, some on their side, some sit up. Whatever is comfortable for them.

ok good it scares me everytime seeing her lay with her legs straight in the air she looks almost dead. but when i open the cage she bolts upright and gives me a stinkeye

yes exactly like that. she also has triplets too. its hard to take pictures of it too i have to sneak really really slowly towards the cage with my phone all ready lol
