i'm just wondering if anyone know of any vets in central vancouver area in british columbia

You would want to see Dr Upjohn on the mainland. Best vet you can find. I know he is not in Vancouver, but everyone I know who owns/raises/rescues chinchillas on the mainland, whether in Vancouver or outside of Vancouver, goes to him.
