The FN bass pans from www.bassequipment.com?

I just got my FN and was wondering if any of you use shaving with these pans.

And you can use fleece with the plain plastic pans right?

Yes, the Bass pans are shaving compatible, and yes, you can use fleece with the plastic pans.

Okay its just that I've heard the bass pans dont have tall enough sides? Does anyone have a problem with them?

When you buy them, you can ask for taller sides, though I think 2.5" is good enough. Certainly better than the plastic pans.

If you are going to go with custom made pans then I'd ask them to make them at least 4" high. I just got my custom made cage pan and it's 4" deep and I think it will work well to keep the shavings from spilling out.
