Daily Vitamins?

In my search for chinchilla supplies I've run across a lot of different chinchilla vitamins and supplements. Are there any kinds of vitamins or supplements or health related things in that vain that they should be given regularly?

Pellets contain synthetic nutrients, so there is no need to add more synthetic vitamins to the diet (this may actually lead to nutrient deficiencies).

Some herbal supplements can be used daily. It is also safe to give a few oats and one rose hip per day. When you offer grass hay, you can mix in some loose alfalfa hay; alfalfa is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, enzymes. It is best when chins get nutrients from plant sources )
