Cute video of a porcupine

I just saw this video today and it totally made me giggle like a kid, so I thought I'd share with my CnH family.
Here is the info on the animal from the video post:
This 5 year old male was a pet in a home, and now lives at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This little guy had been given an apple to eat, and seems to act more like a puppy than a porcupine!

I think that particular animal is rather big- I've only seen one porcupine that big before (in a sanctuary), all the others have been at least 1/3 smaller.
Perhaps because he was a pet, that affected his diet and activity, so he grew that large.

Apparently they can be quite large.

The average weight of an adult male porcupine ranges from 15 to 18 pounds (7-8.5 kg), but some individuals can weigh up to 30 pounds (13.6 kg). Adult females weigh about 2-4 pounds (0.9-1.8kg) less than the males.

what an adorable video! Must be a bit hard to play with him, lol. You'd have to be so careful, and that little (big) guy really was excited! Too cute!
