I really like the ferret and critter nation cages. Theres nothing wrong with my current cage, I would just really like to get the cn or fn instead. Are they available to purchase in the uk?

Yes but their quite expensive (but well worth it!) and not a lot of places stock them so you haven't got much choice in looking around pricewise. They vary rarely come up on eBay but you might be lucky once in a while, as that's how I got mine.

This is the cheapest you are going to find one for new:

£300 on Amazon, same as a the critter nation:

There's also this which is the same size and style as a FN or CN, all metal and half the price. The only drawback is only two doors open on it, rather than all four like the FN's, but if you can live with that, it is generally regarded as a good substitute.

Or the new edition Explorer, which is also the small style and all metal, but with fully opening doors:

Both are good cages, for the price their obviously not going to be quite as sturdy and solid as as the FN's are, but if your on a tight budget their a good option.

From experience though, if you can afford a FN/CN their what to go for in every aspect. It's the best, most easy maintenance, easy access, easy to customise cage I've ever had - and I've had probably almost every type, make and style of cage out there over the years. My first chin alone had at least 10-15 different cages as I kept finding flaws with them after a while. Once you've replaced or covered the plastic trays there are no flaws to find with the FN/CN imo it's the holy grail of cages:D.
