So things have been a little hectic...We've had a big snow storm and haven't been able to take our chin to the vet...It's been exactly a week that we got him...ever since monday he started having diarrhea...that has gone away for the most part, and now it's just soft stool which I know is still bad...we've been giving him ONLY timothy hay, no treats. and been giving him a piece of shredded wheat every night...Not really helping. We also tried the chard toast...Now, he seems to be having a "cough" quite often...a sound kind of like he is puffing air out really fast? Getting really worried because we can't take him to the vet until monday/tuesday, the roads are so bad..... He is acting completely fine...He does not seem stressed..eats a ton of hay, drinks a lot of water, not jumpy, and seems to enjoy our company, i've checked his eyes, they aren't crusty and his nose isn't running.....Any advice? just worried and don't know what to do.
