Colour of sole

My chin is a TOV Mosaic. I have noticed that the colour of his soles are one black (I thought it was dirt but it isn't) and one pinkish in colour. Is that perfectly normal or is there a standardized colour for all chins?

I pointed out to my vet that my chinchilla had a black sole towards the front of her foot but it was pinker at the back. My vet said that the back can be slightly pinker due to the pressure the chinchillas put there as they hop around. She told me as long as it never bleeds or goes really red it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Hope that helps! Perhaps you could post some photos?

It is normal for their feel to be black/brown and pink.

Yup, normal. I have an ebony white and the bottoms of his feet are different colours

They can be any color. There is no set rule on that.

Thank you for the replies. Could I just add on another question? Is there a supposed colour for a chin's urine? My chin has pretty dark yellow in colour urine.

chin urine is very concentrated, usually dark yellow to orange

sometimes people see it on a shelf and think it is blood, it can be that dark
