I discovered a fantastic bird store today, and after years of wanting a cockatiel, I decided to get one. The ladies at this store are great, and they require you to come in and meet the birds a few times before they go home. They also require you take the bird home before 2 pm so it gets used to its surroundings before nighttime, and they have books and pamphlets all over the place. It's the best pet store I've ever seen. Long story short, I met a cockatiel today, and am going back tomorrow. I've been doing research on these guys for a while now, but I always get a little paranoid before I get used to the new animal I'm bringing home. Anyone that has tiels, do you have any advice for me or does anyone know good websites to visit? Thanks in advance!
