cleaning water bottles

this question is mainly for those that use the run style water bottles. the bottle part is easy its the glass tubes. i clean all the bottle regularly but sometimes the tubes get dirty. right now we are doing the q-tip method but does someone have an easier way of cleaning them?

I use craft sized pipe cleaners. They do an excellent job of cleaning out the tubes and leave no residue behind.
