Our German Shepherd is home from rehab. She still has a ways o go, but now we have a chance to have a better handle on her behavior. She has proven that with guidance, she can get along with other dogs, that she has learned they are not all an immediate threat. She does still harbor an intense dislike of intact male dogs, which tells me that when she was bred, it was not a good situation. She responded to correction much faster and calmly last night when she wanted to chase one of the cats.
Time will tell if this can be a good ending. I will keep you posted. Dave is happy his girl is home, even though she did whine about being in a different spot last night.
