Our two chins share a FN, we noticed there are wet/soft poops lately. They are eating and drinking normal and we don't know which chin (or both) are having wet poop issue. We didn't change their diet, just apple for treats. We stopped giving them the treats already, what else we should do ? Thanks!

Hi, chins shouldn't have any fruit at all....too much sugar for them. That could be causing the wet poops. Give them only hay for a couple of days, and see if that resolves the issue.
It could be the apple, or it could be a gut parasite such as giardia. Keep a very close eye on their food and water intake.
If it doesn't clear up in a couple of days, and/or the poops become wetter and smell bad, or they stop eating or drinking, then you should get them to the vets quickly.

What brand of pellets are you feeding? How long ago did you stop the treats? Apples have a lot of sugar in them so it can unbalance the bacteria in the gut. You can try pet pectillin for a couple of days, if it does not clear up the chin should go to the vet to check for bacterial or parasitic infections. The other option would be pull the pellets for a couple days and feed only unlimited amount of hay.
