Chinchilla Biting Cage Bars

Hi! I have a chinchilla named BonBon, and she lives in a Ferret Nation 142. She bites the cage bars, and I'm wondering why she's doing that. I'm also wondering if the bars will break. THANK YOU!

I have one girl who persistently chews the bars when she is bored and wants to come out of the cage. That's how I know its playtime Its very unlikely she'll break the bars. You can tell where Raven chews, the bars are rough from her teeth, but she's not exactly chewing through them either.

I have one that chews the bars too!
I've tried new wood, new chew blocks etc etc and the little bugger still chews bars. Mine have yet to chew out though

I've also seen my chins do this, but mostly it's when they change cages. I usually attribute it to exploring.
