I'm fairly new to this site but I've had my chin for a few months now and I've been thinking about getting another one. There is a breeder about an hour away from me, which is actually where my chin originally came from. But I'm hoping to find a chinchilla rescue before purchasing another chin from a breeder. I'm interested in possibly becoming a foster and/or volunteering in some way. Does anyone know of a rescue in or near the Finger Lakes region of NY? I live in Clifton Springs. Also, for any of you who currently foster/rescue chinchillas any information or advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
