Hi all, long time no post. Just quick question. My 10 yr old chin Peepers went I for bladder stone surgery yesterday. He was good n coming home, ate and all. Been getting up to check on him and just found he's been picking at the suture site. looks like he may have ripped the top stitch. A little pink poking out, some blood but no big gaps or tons of blood. Going to call vet first thing but it's 3am, vet opens at 8 I'm exhausted and I have to work later. Any ideas?

He may need a cone. You can make a homemade one out of a cereal box, or something similar. Hope you were able to get him into the vet.
Just wanted to update. Took Peepers back to the vet. Apparently sutures were fine and still in place. He just managed to get through them and put out a bit of the fat layer. Nice. But that was taken care of and I'm watching him like a hawk. Posted pics in the health and hygiene section.
