Cage...

I have a cage similar to this. http://www.budgiecare.org/budgie-pictures/bird-cage-20x20x58dome.jpg Do you think it will be okay for a chinchilla? What are some nessesitys to have in the cage? I want to have the cage ready before i bring a chinnie home.

Me personally i think it is too small, but that is just me, and I would think it would need to be on a better stand. If you browse the new ownder section that has been asked many times and some great answers have been provided

However, you will need wood ledges, appropriate toys etc, all of which you can find listed in the classifieds.
