The attached pictures are from Carol~Anne a member who is no longer on the site.

I'm having trouble figuring out how she and her hubby got the mesh sandwiched in the door frame? Two pieces of wood? Or did they cut a slit in the wood and slide the mesh in?

Any ideas?

I have no idea, but that is one awesome cage!!! I love it!!!
 
I know, right? It's been my inspiration for YEARS. hahaha

I have old PMs from Carol~Anne and she said it was pretty cheap to build too...just time consuming of course.
 
If there are 2 pieces of wood on each side I would say they just framed the mess like a picture frame. Lay the wood down put the mesh, (stapled, clued, nailed) then put another piece of wood on top of that at least that is how I would do it.
