Cage cleaning freak out?

I changed Mira and the kits cage today. Mira totally freaked out. Jumping from one side to the other. I gave her a treat and a scratch behind the ears and she settled down. I waited to put the kits back in until she settled. I was afraid she would jump on them and hurt them. I've never seen a chin freak out so much at a cage change. Terrance and Phillip could care less when I change them. I changes the cage the day after the kits were born and she was fine.

She may have thought you were not going to put her kits into the cage with her. The first time you changed her cage she may not have thought you would separate her from her kits.

My chin does that every time i clean and change her cage around. I'm guessing it's excitment because she knows she comes out when I clean her cage out. But your chin could have possibily been like that because you took her kits away?
