Bugs in Hay?

While doing the hay bins tonight, I noticed these tiny brown beetle looking bugs in the hay, does anyone know what they might be? And when I say tiny I mean tiny like the size of a flea but they didn't look like fleas..

Mites or flea beetles maybe? Don't know. Are they in all your hay? Do you have to throw it all out? That would be a bummer, sorry.

I threw it all out just to be on the safe side. It was a bale and a quarter too, which is rough but I didn't know if they could hurt the chins and pigs so I erred on the side of caution with this one.

I was just wondering what was going to happen first since my husband just left on deployment yesterday..LOL! Now I know, A hit to the hay budget!
