Bottom FN pan missing

I'm picking up Eleanors FN 142/182 tomorrow, but it's missing the bottom pan. Is there something I can put on it. Would just a slab of plywood work(covered in a liner of course)

You can get a metal pan from here:

Plywood might work short-term as long as the chin couldn't chew it, but I imagine it would get nasty from being pee'd on.
