Ok, Here is the story I got from Cynthia.

Petsmart does not have the rights to the mine. Petco/Petsmart/Oxbow/Sunseed or Linseed buy their products from Blue Cloud and they distribute it. Cynthia and Norm (while alive) will always try to keep it going on their own.

She asked where I heard this from I said a chinchilla forum.

You can actually tell her I heard it from the owner of ANJAN feed store on De anza Blvd in San Jose CA, she said they are not selling dust to her anymore because of that.

I still sell them $5.00 per a pound which is about 4 -6 in a pound. I am picking up a box today, plus dust. I have no clue why they went on clearance.

This is correct - Cynthia and son Howard have NOT sold Blue Cloud.

They plan to continue on what Norm and they have done all these years.

It is too bad these rumors have been circulating.
