I'd love some opinions.
Bean feels slightly bloated to me, so I've started him back on the cisapride and simethicone. I also still have metacam on hand if necessary. Still eating, drinking, pooping and peeing. Chewing and bouncing around like normal.
He did start this new thing where will lay on the cage floor, something I haven't seen him do. He was never one of the chins that sleeps that way, but he's taken to it recently. Now that his energy is back and I haven't finished ledges, his cage is empty and he's rather bored. Whether this is actually caused from him feeling bloated or not, I'm not sure. He hadn't done this before and he was in worse shape then, which is why I guessed it was because he's lacking fun things in the cage at the moment.
Is there anything I can do to prevent him from bloating after this treatment? Should I just make it a regular thing to give him simethicone as a possible preventative?
